About

For those who just can’t get enough of the sharp lyrics, tight grooves, and sonic adventure of the new wave.

Brighton’s New Wave Breakers formed out of a shared love for the inventive, genre-blurring sound of the New Wave to cover songs by artists like Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, Talking Heads, Squeeze, Talk Talk, Tears for Fears, Prefab Sprout, and loads more. Not just the hits, but the deep cuts and forgotten gems, all played with commitment, authenticity, enthusiasm and humour. New Wave Breakers is for those who just can’t get enough of the sharp lyrics, tight grooves, and sonic adventure of the new wave.
