About

Noughties London. A chaotic, exhilarating playground. From Camden to Soho, Notting Hill to Hackney Road, every corner beating with a wild, sleazy energy. A decadent, after-hours melting pot where new sounds, subcultures and scenes collided.

In her latest memoir 'You Had to Be There', nightlife icon Jodie Harsh takes us on a riotous journey through the dizzying highs of noughties London – through the music, the fashion, the art and the after-parties.

Jodie carved out a path as a professional party starter, headlining festivals and underground raves as a DJ. As a producer and songwriter, her tracks have amassed over 40 million streams, collaborating with global icons like Beyoncé and Charli XCX.

Together with queen of clubland and fashion, DJ and writer Princess Julia, they will discuss the transformative power of the dance floor, and reminisce about the rebellious queer generation that jumped off the train and straight into the arms of the city.
