About

Want to experience wildlife in stunning detail? Our monthly Optics Days are here to help you find the perfect binoculars or scope, for your birding and wildlife adventures.

Taking place on the last Saturday of the month in our Discovery Hide, overlooking the Arundel Riverlife Lagoon. These events are designed for nature lovers at every level.

What to expect:

Hands-On Testing: We’ll have a range of binoculars and scopes from trusted brands including Swarovski, Viking, and WWT for you to test.

Expert Guidance: Our trained staff will be on hand to offer advice tailored to your needs, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro.

Suitable for All: From beginner-friendly models to top-tier optics, we’ve got something to fit every budget and skill level. Try out our WWT binoculars, from cygnet pairs for youngsters to Swarovski optics for experienced birders.

Incredible Views: Spot birds, insects, and more as you test the optics in real-life conditions.

Please note you won't be able to take the binoculars and scopes out around the site.

Don’t miss this opportunity to try before you buy, ask questions, and find the optics that are perfect for you.

If there is something you would love to try, but it's outside of our range, please feel free to contact jonathan.boon@wwt.org.uk to see if we can order it in for you especially.

Ready to see nature like never before? Join us at our next Optic Day!
