This popular creative workshop returns, helping you capture the distinctive Charleston 'look', as part of a playful process of painting and decorating your own wooden box.
Melissa White will guide you through an exploration of mark-making, using chalk paints and clever ideas for experimenting with pattern, shape and texture. You will finish off your personal box by learning how to distress and wax it to create an antique look and feel.
Suitable for beginners, this day-long workshop includes a tour of the modernist home and studio at Charleston, providing a glimpse into its rich artistic history, along with all the materials you'll need to bring your creation to life.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including a delicious lunch made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
