About
'Happiness through a lifetime' is a new dance theatre show developed as part of Project Happiness funded by Arts Council England. 'Happiness through a lifetime' is a joyful and nostalgic exploration of how happiness changes and deepens with age, performed and created with an intergenerationalcast of professional and non-professional dancers aged 7-75. This show combines contemporary dance, tap, and theatre with original music by Lucy Tapper, a toe tapping exploration of what it means to be happy leaving you laughing, smiling, and reminiscing.
Through Project Happiness we held 50 workshops with over 1000 participants aged 1-100 for local communities within Adur and Arun Council Boroughs to creatively explore 'what makes you happy?' The outcomes from these workshops have been put together to create this show and will be displayed on entrance to the theatre.
