Refugee Week: The Art of Courage

About

In celebration of Refugee Week 2026 and its theme of Courage, Worthing 4 Refugees warmly invites you to a week-long exhibition bringing together art and craft created by refugees and displaced people, alongside pieces by local artists in solidarity with them.

The exhibition is a space to honour resilience, share stories, and build confidence across cultures and communities. Come along to experience the work, learn more, show your support, and perhaps discover a unique, original artwork to take home.

Worthing 4 Refugees seeks to create a culture of safety, integration and justice for refugees and displaced people in Worthing. With a team of volunteers and in partnership with local organisations, they provide a range of services and support across the town to help refugees and people seeking asylum to integrate with the local community as they begin a new phase in their life.
