Worthing choir invites audiences to enjoy a summer celebration in song

The Rowland Singers are preparing to put the sun into Sunny Worthing with their latest concert programme, Singin' in the Sunshine.

Taking place at Emmanuel URC in Worthing on Thursday 16 July at 7.30pm and Saturday 18 July at 4pm, the concerts will feature a joyful mix of Broadway hits, Disney classics and uplifting choral favourites chosen to capture the warmth and spirit of the season.

Under the direction of conductor Helen Emery, the choir will be joined by accompanist Kathryn Kay and guest singer Tegan Monroe.

Known for their welcoming atmosphere and varied repertoire, the Rowland Singers have been entertaining audiences across the local area for many years.

Helen Emery said: "There's something wonderful about coming together to share music at this time of year, and we're looking forward to welcoming both familiar faces and first-time audience members to Singin' in the Sunshine."
