Sold Studio

About

SOLD Studio is a group of ten neurodivergent young artists all of whom are trainees at the SOLD Charity (Shoreham Opportunities for Learning Differences) shop in Shoreham on Sea.

Our aim is that the adults who train with us furnish themselves with a whole range of work related skills that they can take on to future placements and ultimately achieve the goal of paid employment. All of our trainees have their own talents and we love to support them and help them develop their personal passions.

Ten of our long-term trainees have demonstrated amazing artistic and creative abilities and have joined together to form Sold Studio a showcase for their amazing talent. Our artists work across many different mediums, painting, digital, photography, collage and textiles, each bringing their own distinctive flair to any project they tackle.

In a world where they are very often told what they can't do, this project has given them the confidence to discover that art is something they are very good at and the benefits to their self esteem are clear to see.

We are also proud to say that all our artists receive a share of the profits.
