Monthly* Sunday afternoon Blues jam in Worthing. Always the 3rd Sunday of the month, Always FREE entry!
Open to Blues enthusiasts and players of all ages and level of ability.
VENUE: Audioactive Worthing. See audioactive.org.uk for more info. It is a fabulous town centre charity with a fully accessible ground floor music venue. Bottle bar available during our open hours. Cabaret style seating. Accessible and unisex toilet facilities.
Good transport links nearby, Worthing Central Rail Station approx 20min walk north and buses within 5-10mins. Town centre parking available.
TIME: 2pm to 5pm. Doors open 1.45pm.
PERFORMERS/JAMMERS: All will get a chance up on stage if they wish, we generally work on a first in, first up basis, so come early to ensure a good slot, and make sure you get your name on the performer list. Time/s on stage may vary depending on numbers, but we do endeavour to get everyone on the list up at least once. IMPORTANT: You need to have your name on the list to be called up, we do not automatically assume you are here to play.
Back line, PA and house band provided, musicians just bring instrument to plug in and play, or drumsticks; singers we have mics ready to go;
AUDIENCE: enjoy the venue and the homemade entertainment!

South Coast Blues Jam Guidelines
To ensure we all have a good time, please take note of the following:
*If you want to perform, make sure you put your name down on the participant list, along with your instrument and the song/s you wish to play on. This is how I build the afternoon's 'set list', so please do give me your song 'wish list'
*Have your instrument tuned & ready to go when called.
*Format: The House Band start and end proceedings; participants are called up on a first come, first up basis. NB: It is not assumed that you want to be included, please make yourself known if you want to participate.
*This is a Blues Jam, please don't ask to play other genres.
*South Coast Blues Jam take no responsibility for the safety of participants and equipment.
*By attending the Jam, you consent to be photographed and/or videoed by members of South Coast Blues Jam or associates. These images may be placed on the South Coast Blues Jam social media pages.
* Please listen to the Stage Manager for direction, the Hosts reserve the right to make any amendments to guidelines/instructions at any time.
