Explore the garden, its hidden corners and winding hillside paths, play in Adventure Corner and discover activities in the woodland den.

Booking not needed. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
Saturday 5 July to Sunday 7 September 2025, 10am to 4pm

Join us for a summer of play at Standen. Explore the garden, its hidden corners and winding hillside paths, play in Adventure Corner and discover activities in the woodland den. Have a go at archery and Swingball near Adventure Corner, on Goose Green discover hopscotch, balance beams, dominoes and have a game of giant Connect 4. Practice your circus skills up in the woodland den with plate spinning, juggling and dress up.

Pick up your family map when you arrive or download it (see below) and see if you can spot where the bees live or if there are llamas grazing in the fields at the top of the garden. Summer of Play activities are sponsored by Starling Bank.
