About

The Big One Hundred's Explorer Festival, a family-friendly fun day of workshops, performances and learning, sparking imagination and nature

The Big One Hundred opening weekend at Ashdown Forest

Our story begins at Ashdown Forest, the original Hundred Acre Wood. Among open heathland and winding woodland paths, our curious creature first appears, shaped by this incredible landscape and its wildlife.

Families are invited to explore, play and take part in a weekend of performances, workshops and discovery. Get involved with our Explorer Day – collect your badges by taking part in activities and workshops and learning about the Forest in order to become an Ashdown Explorer!
