The Elves and the Shoemaker
Festive theatre for all
Cliffe Hall, Lewes
20th December 2025 | 12pm, 3pm, 6pm
Following recent popular outdoor summer theatre shows The Dot Collective and Open Bar Theatre combine forces and are back with a festive show touring (inside - no need to worry about winter weather!) that will transform pubs and community spaces this Festive season!
Written in 1806 by the Brothers Grimm the tale follows a failing shoemaker at Christmas time, who one morning awakes to discover a perfect pair of shoes, already made. Each morning the same mysterious occurrence takes place, helping him make his fortune.
A story of hard work rewarded, featuring music, puppetry and plenty of audience interaction! This production is full wit and will immerse you into a fun filled festive time. Come one, come all, adults grab a glass of wine and a mince pie, bring a huddle of mates and the family to witness the magic of the Elves, sing along, get involved and pull a cracker or two...the perfect treat for the Christmas weekend!
