About
As summer gently draws to a close, The Intentional Table invites you to gather for a magical retreat experience in the heart of Hove.
This isn't just another supper club. It's a retreat for the soul.
An immersive Wild Roots experience where vibrant plant-forward food, functional botanicals, collective ritual, music and creativity come together to nourish your mind, body and spirit—inviting you to slow down, reconnect and step into autumn with intention.
This is a space where there is nowhere else to be.
A place to wander, pause, breathe deeply and let yourself be nourished.
As you arrive at PLATF9RM Hove, you'll be welcomed into a beautifully curated space designed for gathering, exploring and resting. Discover an ever-growing collection of independent wellness brands, makers and creatives, each thoughtfully chosen to inspire a slower, more intentional way of living.
Wander through Higher Ground's wellness market, meet passionate local makers, sip something delicious, settle into cosy corners, connect with old friends or make new ones. Rest in a calming sound journey taster with Medicine Woman Brighton.
There is no rush here. Every part of the experience invites you to soften into the moment.
Then, as everyone gathers, we begin with a shared intention.
Through a guided meditation, we'll take a collective pause to honour the season we've lived, release what no longer serves us and gently ask ourselves:
How do I want to move into autumn?
From there, the botanical banquet begins.
Across a series of beautifully crafted courses, you'll experience delicious plant-forward food infused with functional botanicals and adaptogens, alongside a calming CBD palate-cleansing course created in collaboration with Higher Ground. As the afternoon unfolds, every dish becomes another invitation to nourish yourself—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
The final course is a ceremonial cacao dessert, accompanied by the soulful live music of Izzy Adams, creating space to reflect, celebrate and simply be. A gentle reminder that nourishment can be found in music, conversation, beauty and the people we gather beside.
Created by Lucille Dee, founder of Wild Roots, The Intentional Table brings together years of creating immersive food experiences for festivals, retreats, private gatherings and community celebrations. Her work is rooted in the belief that food has the power to connect us—to ourselves, to each other and to the rhythms of the natural world.
