Dr Takeo Higuchi began his extraordinary creative experiment in 1984. Forty-two years later, he has recorded more than 650,000 ideas across 580 notebooks, worn out more than 1,200 biros, and created two enormous walls of thoughts, passions, plans and obsessions. Perhaps he has even made a physical map of his own brain.
And he’s not finished yet. Takeo is heading towards one million ideas. With AI yapping at the heels of human creativity, perhaps it’s time the rest of us upped our game.
