About

An evening with Richard Norris of The Grid (and many other musical ventures!): Q&A from 8.00 PM, then Richard Norris DJ set 10.00 - midnight.
Richard Norris is best known as one half of The Grid, alongside Dave Ball (of Soft Cell). The duo had a run of hits in the 1990s, including global smash 'Swamp Thing' and the Balearic classic 'Floatation'. They are shortly to reanimate as a live unit. Norris is also known for his work with Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve (with Erol Alkan), The Droyds and The Time and Space Machine. He was one of the first British producers to embrace acid house in 1988, working with Genesis P Orridge on the 'Jack the Tab' collection . He has collaborated along the way with artists as varied as Joe Strummer, Robert Fripp and David Sylvian.
Richard's memoir 'Strange Things Are Happening' is recently published and copies will be available.
Richard Norris will be in conversation with the writer Thomas H Green.
DJ support from Gazzy T.
