About

The Hoogly Tea Lodge is the latest chapter for our independent tea company. Situated just off Preston Park, Brighton, we are the perfect place for a hot drink or a bite to eat with friends, family or just on your own.

Our name, Hoogly, is derived from the Nordic word ‘hygge’. More of a feeling than a word really; comfort, coziness, warmth and well-being, which we hope we have captured in our Tea Lodge. Our aim is to create an atmosphere that can be enjoyed by everyone.

We have opened up a courtyard at the back so you can enjoy sitting outside too in the sun when it's around!

We use high quality ingredients from local artisans (And of-course our own teas!), and whether you want breakfast, afternoon tea, a toastie, or just a cup of coffee, Hoogly is the place to be.

We are dog-friendly, have a baby changing room and offer a good range of vegan and gluten free options.

We look forward to welcoming you at the lodge.
