About

Alborosie - nine mile UK tour

The most Jamaican of the Sicilians

With over 100 million streams and more than 10 million monthly listeners across all platforms in 2024, Alborosie is undoubtedly the international reggae benchmark! Two years after the release of his album Destiny, Pupa Albo is back this year with a new opus.

Alborosie has built up a solid reputation with over 1,000 concerts across the globe. After a major world tour in 2025, he's back on the road to support the release of his new album and to offer his fans some exceptional live moments where new singles will rub shoulders with must-have tracks from his vast musical catalogue.

Real name Alberto D’Ascola, this Sicilian with giant dreadlocks left his native land to reach Jamaica and fully embrace this culture that he feels. Living on this island for over 20 years, Alborosie is an ultra prolific artist who has been shaking up the roots reggae world since 1993. Roots, rub-a-dub, raggamuffin, dancehall and dub are all part of the authentic reggae expression and no one embraces these styles with such reverence, joy and vibrancy than Alborosie.
