About

Panel and interactive lab

Ctrl-Alt is a one-off event bringing together university research, a local arts charity, and a community of people doing truly interesting work.

Together, they are reimagining the world.

And you are invited.

The challenges of today are recognised - not ignored.

This is a space to think boldly, dream big, and build big, inspired by those already turning ideas into action.

Part panel, part interactive lab, CTRL-ALT invites you to explore, question, and contribute to the “alt” ideas shaping the conversation. Expect dialogue, experimentation, and the chance to add your voice.

Let’s reclaim control.

With Casey Galt, Myra Appannah and Gracie Chick. Facilitated by Bobby Brown and Rachael Taylor.

CTRL-ALT was created in collaboration with the University of Brighton and Lighthouse, exploring alternatives to control and funded by Ignite, a UKRI Program.
