About

How can music shape a story? Can a melody create a mood, inspire a character or suggest an entirely new world?

This engaging workshop explores the powerful connection between music and creative writing. Young participants will listen to a range of musical pieces and consider how different sounds, rhythms and styles can influence emotions, atmosphere and storytelling. Through guided discussion and carefully chosen audio prompts, they will then create an original piece of writing inspired by the music they hear, experimenting with mood, setting and character.

Ideal for aspiring writers and musicians, this session offers a fresh and inspiring approach to creativity across the arts.
