Five-Way Split was formed in 2020 and features some of the finest contemporary jazz bebop musicians in the UK: trumpet star Quentin Collins, Vasilis Xenopoulos (sax) and Rob Barron (keys), plus Matyas Hofecker (bass) and Matt Home (drums). The band's vision is to carry on the lineage of groups like Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers as well as mirroring the New York contemporary-bop scene.
