Half-Day Pottery Taster Workshop

About

This half-day taster session will give you a real feel for pottery. Whether it's just for fun or if you want to give it a go before committing to a longer course, we will help you make a lovely pot.

During this workshop, you will either be exploring the pinch-pot technique or slab-building, and can choose to make things such as mugs, vases, candle-holders, plant pots, butter dishes etc. You can see the what the focus of the workshop will be when booking on the website.

You can choose one of our lovely dipping glazes, or you can decorate the piece yourself using underglaze paints and other decoration techniques.

Our sessions are small, with no more than 8 people, and plenty of tea and coffee! No previous knowledge is necessary, but people who have done pottery before are also very welcome.

Come and experience the relaxed and creative joy of pottery, and hopefully, you will get the ceramics bug and want to come back for more!

If you aren't local, we can arrange to post your pots to you once they have been fired.
