Horsham Symphony Orchestra returns to St Marys Church on 14 March 2026 with an ambitious and richly contrasting programme that spans contemporary British music, 20th-century symphonic mastery, and one of the great virtuoso concertos of the repertoire.
The concert opens with Come Spring by Martyn Harry, a vivid and atmospheric work. Paul Hindemiths powerful Symphony Mathis der Malerfollows, a work of striking emotional depth inspired by the art and inner conflicts of the Renaissance painter Matthias Grnewald, combining lyrical beauty with moments of stark intensity.
The evening culminates in Sergei Rachmaninovs Piano Concerto No. 3, renowned for both its sweeping Romanticism and formidable technical demands. Horsham Symphony Orchestra is joined by acclaimed pianist Andrew Zolinsky.

Andrew Zolinskys unique style of programming and his individual interpretations have secured worldwide performances at many prestigious venues and festivals. He has also performed with several major orchestras, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta and Philharmonia Orchestra.
