Music For Midsummer

About

International guitar virtuoso Richard Durrant returns to BOAT for a musical celebration of the Summer Solstice.

This summer, Richard is once again pedalling between shows, carrying everything on his bicycle and trailer. Since 2014, Richard has cycled thousands of miles around the British Isles raising awareness of climate change and the power of the bicycle. The green credentials of this show become ever more apparent as this remarkable musician stands alongside his bicycle to perform some of the world’s most beautiful guitar music.

The programme will include Bach’s mighty Prelude in E, Barrios’ La Catedral and ever popular Durrant originals.
