A thrilling new programme of operatic highlights from some of the world’s favourite operas, as well as a few not so well-known pieces.
Arias, duets, ensembles and choruses from the “pops”, such as Carmen, La Boheme, Turandot, Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute etc to the lesser-known Louise, Lakme, La Fanciulla del West, La Rondine etc. Featuring a cast of more than 30 experienced opera singers who, between them, have appeared at Glyndebourne, The Royal Opera, ENO, English Festival Opera, Holland Park, Regency Opera etc
The Director/Musical Director is the versatile Simon Gray who has worked with many opera companies in the UK and abroad and has also worked in musical theatre on tour and in the West End. As with most “Simon Gray Presents” events, this one will be supporting The Martlets Hospice.
