Celebrating 40 years of Pet Shop Boys iconic debut album Please live in full, plus all the hits!
1986 was the year the Pet Shop Boys stormed into the charts with their debut album Please. Opening with the ground-breaking Two Divided by Zero and closing with the euphoric Why Dont We Live Together?, the record defined a new era of electronic pop. Forty years on, Pet Shop Boys, actually are proud to celebrate this landmark release with a special anniversary tour.
Audiences will experience Please in full, including songs that even Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe rarely perform live. From the worldwide smash West End Girls to fan favourites like Tonight Is Forever and Violence, this is a unique opportunity to rediscover the album that started it all.
But the celebration doesnt stop there. As well as reliving Please, the show of course contains all the classic hits that have made Pet Shop Boys one of the most successful duos in music history. Expect Its a Sin, Always on My Mind, Go West, Domino Dancing, Being Boring, and many more, delivered with the wit, theatricality, and synth-driven energy the Boys are known for.
Pet Shop Boys, actually arent just another tribute act. Known for their humour, authenticity, and connection with fans, they capture the spirit of Neil and Chris without taking themselves too seriously. The result is a show that feels both nostalgic and fresh, appealing to lifelong fans and newcomers alike.
Whether you grew up with Please on your turntable or youve discovered the Pet Shop Boys in recent years, this anniversary tour is your chance to celebrate forty years of synth-pop genius in truly unforgettable style.
Join us for a night of music, memories, and more than a little dancing. After all, forty years on, its still a sin not to.
