PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK
by Tom Wright
Directed by Diane Robinson

On a sweltering hot Valentines Day 1900, in the Macedon region of Australia, 3 Australian schoolgirls and a teacher, on a picnic expedition to the remote Hanging Rock, abscond from their group. They are last seen heading towards the Rock.

In this chilling adaptation of Joan Lindsay’s classic story, 5 female performers struggle to solve the mystery of the missing girls and their teacher, they also tell of the horrific reverberations that their disappearance creates in the community.

NVT Members please note: When booking, if your membership number has a prefix letter you do not need to include this - just the number and your surname. Please note that each member is only entitled to ONE members' price ticket for their personal use per production.

Performance Sold out? This production is also available through the Brighton Fringe - so you may want to see if they have any tickets left www.brightonfringe.org [//www.brightonfringe.org]

At NVT we no longer offer a waiting list for sold out performances. SO – ideally BOOK EARLY - many of our shows sell out in advance! It can be worth coming along for when the box office opens and waiting to see if there are any returns. Of course there is no guarantee you will be lucky - but it is surprising how often returns are offered when one or more members of a party are unable to attend.
