About
Annette Badland has delighted us with poetry readings at nearly every festival since we began in 2017 so we cant allow our tenth anniversary to pass without her doing so again with her usual skill and empathy. This year is also the tenth anniversary of the publication of A Poem for Every Night of the Year , the first of the poetry anthologies complied by Allie Esiri and we are so pleased that Allie will be introducing poems from the anthology that will be read by Annette and Hugh Ross.
Annette Badland says in the past year she has again been tormenting the detectives and helping to solve the numerous murders in Midsomer! (House prices continue to be extremely low in the county). She finished the fourth series of Ted Lasso (with an all-female team) at the end of January.
Hugh Ross is a veteran actor and has worked extensively on stage. television and audio. Most recently he has been a regular character in the immensely popular series Outlander .
As usual, tea and delicious cakes will be served and Annette and Hugh will be happy to chat about their recent acting work.
