Site Visit and Summer Picnic at Amberley Museum and Chalkpits

About

Join us for our Branch summer gathering and site visit at Amberley Museum and chalk pits

This is a unique opportunity to visit this historic site, located on the former site of the Amberley chalk pits. The museum provides a centre where the industrial and social history in the south-east has been conserved and interpreted in an active working environment.

The day will start at 10am with a curators tour of the Museum and chalk pits site, and will be followed by a group networking picnic lunch at the site (BYO picnic). Partners, families and children welcome. In the afternoon we have the opportunity of a site visit to the Scheduled Amberley Castleto view and hear about the ongoing works from Kevin Symonds of Traditional Stone .
