About

For the Brighton Italian Festival, Pottery Gagliano is handing the clay over to you!

Only 16 places available!

For over 20 years, Roberto and Marcella have been sharing their passion for making in Brighton from their pottery studio. Now it's your turn. Here's your chance to create your own unique pasta bowl.

In this two-hour session (2–4pm), you'll start with a lump of fresh clay and craft your own 28cm pasta bowl by hand — shaping it, adding details, bringing in colour, and deciding whether it's bold, minimal, rustic, or classic Italian in style. You'll be guided throughout the process, but the personality? That's entirely yours.

Afterwards, your bowl will be glazed and fired, ready to collect in two weeks — finished, food-safe, and ready for its first generous serving.

It's slow, tactile, and wonderfully creative — even more fun if you come with friends.

Book your place. Make something real.
