Tim Spector Ferment: The Life-Changing Power of Microbes

About

Tim Spector is on a mission to bring fermenting into our lives and kitchens. Drawing on cutting-edge science and his own experiments, with practical tips and recipes, Ferment is an accessible introduction and guide for beginners and fermenting enthusiasts alike.

Tim Spector is here to share that ferments are the delicious discovery that have most transformed his diet. He explains their extraordinary potential to improve our gut microbes and our general health more than any other food group, and shows the endless simple and tasty ways to bring them into our daily lives.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall calls Tim the master of gut health and intelligent eating, who makes the science of fermentation exciting to read about.

Tim Spector is Professor of Epidemiology at Kings College London. He is the best-selling author of The Diet Myth, Spoon-Fed, Food for Life and The Food for Life Cookbook , and scientific co-founder of ZOE, the nutrition science company.

Tim will be in conversation with Jo Durrant, frequent chair at literary and science festivals.
