Based on a NYC Jazz-Supper club, The Speakeasy boasts snug alcoves, cosy lighting, candlelit dining from the much lauded Thai kitchen (should you chose it), wide selection of drinks on tap, and outstanding live jazz brought to you by some of the finest musicians from throughout the UK. £6 Entry payable by cash or card on the door.
Those of us who have caught him live have been left in blinking disbelief. It's not just his mastery of the tenor saxophone, phenominal though it is, but the absolute conviction of his playing that is so impressive.
