Tremula Podcast Festival 2025

About

We're back for the second Tremula Festival Production Day! This is all about upskilling your audio production, whilst enjoying the beautiful South Downs landscape. Well be teaching recording techniques for producing audio outdoors, hearing how to create podcasts with activist principles and thinking about our relationship to audio and nature.

Learn from our speakers and take part in practical workshops during walks and outdoors activities. Plus therell be plenty of time to speak to other producers and podcasters, and get nerdy about podcasts and sound!

What youll get:

* Choose from eight sessions across the day - with workshops and talks from experts on creating audio about and in the outdoors.
* At least two sessions outdoors, with workshops and round-circles taking place.
* A group lunch (included in the price) with time to share our learnings and connect over our joint passion for the outdoors and audio.
* Enjoy the unique setting of the South Downs - no other audio or podcast event can give you such a close connection to nature!
* Relax in our chillout zone with a bespoke playlist of soundscapes, storytelling and sounds inspired by nature.
* Digital access to a selection of previous Tremula workshops and talks.

We are using a pick-your-value ticketing system. You can enter the amount you think the ticket is worth, but if you want some guidence, here are some suggestions:

70 - This is the lowest viable price. If everyone pays this price we can pay our speakers.

90 - This is the price we would need the majority of our attendees to pay so that we can pay speakers and cover the costs of the venue.

150 - This would be the price we charged if we wanted ticketing to cover all costs, including speaker travel and accomodation, food, insurance and fair pay for the Tremula team for the day. We don't expect you pay this (but it would be lovely if you are able to!)

If the lowest cost available here is a barrier, we always reserve 10% of tickets for pay-what-you-can, with no questions asked. Please get in touch to ask for a discount code.

Importantly for us as a small and boot-strapping festival there is no upper limit that you can put in, so if you are in a position to pay more and support the lower bands, please consider this.
