Vasilis Xenopoulos Quintet: Songs Without Borders

About

While much of the jazz repertoire is rooted in the American Songbook, The Vasilis Xenopoulos Quintet shifts the spotlight to the rich and diverse legacy of European composers. Songs Without Borders explores iconic European works that have entered the jazz tradition, alongside timeless classics reimagined specifically for this project. With thoughtful arrangements and a refined improvisational approach, the quintet offers a distinguished interpretation of European repertoire highlighting the enduring relevance of these works within the contemporary jazz tradition.
