About

Soak up the last of summer with a mindful morning in nature.

As Arundel celebrates its final events of the season, we'll be hosting the last of our longer summer Forest Bathing sessions.

Join us for a slow mindful walk through the woods where we'll notice subtle signs of seasonal change. It's the perfect opportunity to find some rest and balance after the busyness of summer; a beautiful way to prepare for the shift into a new season.

What is Forest Bathing?
Also known as Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Bathing is a mindful, sensory practice of slowly walking through the forest while using all your senses to connect deeply with the natural world. Through simple sensory exercises, you'll engage with the woods in a fresh way—perhaps noticing details and sensations you've never experienced before.

✨ Potential Health Benefits include:

Reduced stress and anxiety

Lowered blood pressure

Boosted immune system

Improved mood and mental clarity

Better sleep and overall sense of wellbeing

During the session, you'll also learn some of the fascinating science behind how time spent in ancient woodland supports your mental, physical, and emotional health.

By the end, you'll take home practical tools to bring calm, clarity, and mindfulness into your daily life—plus a renewed sense of connection to yourself and the natural world.

No experience is necessary. The only requirement is to come with an open mind.

We suggest wearing warmer clothes than usual, as we'll spend time in the shade of the forest canopy. The session will take place in all weathers, allowing you to enjoy nature's beauty in every season. Full details about the event, including what to wear and bring, will be emailed before the day.

Want to gift this experience? You can now purchase a Forest Bathing Gift Voucher for someone special.
