Winter Wildlife Weekend

About

Come along to our special event weekend and enjoy the nature reserve and visitor centre at their wintery best!

Binocular & telescope weekend - it's the ideal time to try a range of binoculars and telescopes and get expert advice from our team. There's no need to book and the team will be on hand to help each day.

Winter warmer offers in the café - cosy up in the café after your walk and enjoy hot drinks and festive treats.

Special wildlife events & activities:

Throughout the weekend our team will be manning the hides and viewpoints with telescopes ready to introduce you to the fantastic winter ducks, waders and birds of prey.

Saturday 29 November - 'Brilliant birds' family activity - join our team at the bird feeding station for bird spotting, games and crafts.

Sunday 30 November - we'll be joined by one of the project officers from the Forestry England White-tailed Eagle reintroduction scheme for some talks about these magnificent birds. (Talks at 11am and 1.30pm - booking essential)
