Set amongst 1100 acres of lush green English countryside, the East Sussex National Resort provides the perfect retreat destination.
Ideally situated near Brighton, Gatwick Airport, and offering easy access into central London, the hotel functions as both a quiet haven and a base from which to embark on bustling city adventures.
With 104 beautifully designed bedrooms, all overlooking the South Downs and our manicured golf courses, East Sussex National provides its valued guests with every comfort. The resort offers a health club and spa, AA Rosette restaurants, and two championship golf courses.
Horsted Spa and Health Club is an oasis of calm where it’s all about you. A fully equipped gym, pool, sauna and steam room will leave you feeling rejuvenated and good as new. Horsted spa has selected a wonderful choice of treatments using both ESPA and VOYA products to provide you an escape from life’s stresses. Relax and unwind as one of our highly skilled therapists nurture your mind, body and soul.
East Sussex National Golf Club is one of the best golf courses in the area. The club features two unique championship golf courses that have been played on by some of the most well-known names in golf, including Sir Nick Faldo and Colin Montgomerie. Playing golf at East Sussex National is a challenging and memorable experience. The 36 holes are all unique, with no two looking alike or playing alike, with each hole requiring thought and skill. We also have a fully kitted out pro shop, clubhouse and golf academy with two PGA professionals who offer all year round tuition to improve your golf game.
Enjoy a taste of excellence at the AA two rosette restaurant, The Pavilion. The restaurant offers stunning views over the Sussex Hills to match our incredible dishes. The Pavilion offers a range of both local and classical dishes, prepared with ethically-sourced, fresh ingredients from key local suppliers. The Sussex Lounge is the perfect hideaway in which to enjoy a morning coffee with the newspaper, light bistro lunch with business colleagues, or experience one of our renowned afternoon teas with friends. In the evening, our lounge transforms into the perfect place to relax with a pre-dinner drink or you can enjoy our wide range of wines, beers, champagnes or make a selection from our extensive gin menu. During the warmer months, there is outdoor seating in the gardens or on the balcony terrace.
The Huntington’s Restaurant is situated within the golf club house of the East Sussex National Resort. It enjoys breath-taking views across the finishing holes on both the East and West courses. Our menus offer good, traditional home cooking with firm favourites including our burgers, club sandwiches, and good old-fashioned steak and kidney pie.
