About

The famous East Sussex National Hotel is situated in one of Sussex’s most desirable locations and just 40 minutes from Brighton's seafront. This makes us ideally positioned for guests looking to explore this historic county or for those choosing to combine business and pleasure in the peace and tranquillity of our rural setting, whilst still being within easy reach of Brighton and Eastbourne.

Each of our 104 bedrooms is spacious and thoughtfully designed with breath-taking views over the golf courses. As you would expect from a hotel of this calibre, each room comes with a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath, air conditioning as standard, wall mounted flat screen TV and free internet access.

The Hosted Spa, with its nine individual treatment rooms, is the ultimate in luxury and relaxation. In conjunction with ESPA, world leaders in spa inspired products and services, we offer a range of treatments and day programmes designed to invigorate, detoxify, calm or energise.

The National Suite complete with staging, lighting and built-in audio and visual equipment, is the largest conference room in the hotel. Serviced by its own private bar and cloakroom area, it is ideal for larger parties, dinner dances or business conventions.

On the first floor is the Lynx conference centre, the showcase of which is the Lynx Roundall which, as its name suggests, is a circular function suite. This, along with a suite of five individual conference rooms, can be used either individually for smaller meetings or private gatherings or transformed into a spacious centre for up to 300 delegates.

There is no better way to experience the majesty of the East Sussex countryside than by playing a round of golf at ‘The National’. You won’t be disappointed in any aspect of your experience with us
