Albourne Estate is a family-owned boutique vineyard and winery overlooking the beautiful South Downs, just 8 miles from Brighton in the heart of the Sussex countryside. The vineyard was established in 2010 and has rapidly established itself as an innovative and quality-led English wine producer at the forefront of this rapidly growing industry. From winning ‘UK Wine of the Year’ in 2015 with a Bacchus wine from the second ever harvest, the range and quality of Albourne wines has grown to include traditional and charmat method English sparkling wines, white and red still wines and one of the first English Vermouths.
We have won many awards for our wines and continuously strive to implement sustainable vineyard and winemaking practices to reduce our Carbon Footprint.
On weekends from May to October we offer fun and informative vineyard tours including a wine and local cheese tasting, drop-in wine tastings, Sussex charcuterie and cheese platters, self-guided vineyard walks, gourmet vineyard picnics as well as regular Friday evening ‘pop-up’ dining experiences with local chefs and restaurants.
Come and learn more about English wine and enjoy and the stunning views from our panoramic Tasting Room balcony.
