Bringing the Mediterranean to Brighton.
Vios (‘βίος’ = ‘life’ in Greek), founded by brothers Constantine and Philippos, is an independent café and retail store
located in the historic Lanes. Inspired by their second home in Greece and other Mediterranean countries, the space has
been carefully designed to bring a light and welcoming feel, with warm earthy colours, catching the essence of the
sunny landscapes and sea breeze of the Mediterranean.
The no-fuss menu celebrates fresh, simple dishes made with quality ingredients and care that are full of flavours found
in and around the areas they are inspired from. Expect freshly prepared wraps & sandwiches, healthy yoghurt bowls,
small meze plates, traditional Dakos, Greek & other salads, along with a selection of pastries and sweet treats to indulge
Catch up with a friend over a cup of coffee, one of the best in the city, accompanied by a freshly baked croissant,
speciality tea or even a glass of Greek wine, and cosy up inside or outdoors overlooking the pedestrianised streets, a
prime location for morning or afternoon sun and people-watching. Vios is a space that holds the feeling of that favourite
neighbourhood coffee bar found in Greece, a spot where people gather, slow down, socialise and simply enjoy life.
Find a display of unique food products in the café space, all sourced from independent producers and artisans in
Greece, Italy, France and other Mediterranean countries. Explore a selection of handmade pasta and high quality olive
oils, sauces & real honey, alongside a small but carefully selected range of Greek wines and traditional craft liqueurs and
spirits, from ouzo to a Chios mastic resin liqueur made from a centuries-old recipe. You can now bring a bit of Vios & the
Mediterranean into your own home.
