R-Bar is a feisty, friendly, and fun LGBTQ+ bar on Brighton’s seafront featuring super cheap drinks deals with DJs & entertainment throughout the week; the perfect warm-up to the bigger venue – Club Revenge – round the corner! 

Situated opposite Brighton’s iconic palace pier, R-Bar is your favourite queer bar, with breathtaking lighting & art installations, food provided by Pizzaface, artwork by the UK’s finest queer artists, and loads of drink deals to keep you going no matter which day of the week it is.

As well as providing the best LGBTQ+ events for Brighton’s community, we at R-Bar - and our sister venue, Club Revenge - work closely with and are active supporters of local and national charities. We have raised thousands of pounds for worthy causes, including Pride in Brighton & Hove, The Clare Project, The Rainbow Fund, Terrence Higgins Trust South, Stonewall, Brighton Women’s Centre, Sussex Beacon, LGBrighTon, Sussex LGBTQ Society, Help For Heroes & Breast Cancer Awareness. We also donate a percentage of takings to specific charities from a number of different drinks that we sell, such as our Crash The Cis-Tem shooter – from which, 50p from every drink gets donated to Trans Charities.
