About
One of Europe’s biggest jazz stars, the cool Dutch musician Eric Vloeimans is a trumpeter, composer, record producer and songwriter extraordinaire; he builds timbral textures of the modern, traditional and experimental, all underpinned by the poetic beauty of his sound.
Joined by regular collaborator, BPO’s Music Director and dazzling pianist Joanna MacGregor, expect an evening of high-octane virtuosity and soulful melody – a programme including Nina Simone, Jacques Brel and Meredith Monk, as well as Eric’s own beguiling, haunting music.
Eric Vloeimans also joins Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra on Sun 15 Nov for Dido and Aeneazz, Brighton Dome Corn Exchange.
