It was late 2022 when we all started hearing about something called Chat GPT.
Artificial intelligence has been around for decades but it was generative AI that really hit the headlines. Suddenly we could talk to AI and AI could do all kinds of things for us and even instead of us.
* Will AI replace the jobs we are currently doing?
* Is it all hype what is the truth that the heart of the rise of AI?
* How does AI actually work?
* What are the benefits of AI and what skills do we need in a world increasingly defined by it?
This interactive session led by PaulLevyfrom the University of Brighton, whose recent research has focused on digital innovation, the skills of digital management and the rise of disruptive innovation including cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology.
We will take a very practical look at artificial intelligence, get online, see what it really can and cannot do, try and break into it, identify the benefits but also the risks and take a look at the future.
Paul Levy is the author of several books including Digital Inferno and Technosophy .
