Brighton and Hove 5k Rainbow Run

About

righton & Hove Frontrunners is proud to announce the annual Brighton and Hove 5K Rainbow Run.

This fun event will take place on Friday 2nd August 2024 at Hove Park and the run starts at 7pm– the same weekend as Brighton and Hove Pride – ideal for those wanting to include it as part of their pride celebrations or just want to join a fun run.

The 5km Rainbow Run will take place in Hove Park, just a short walk from Hove train station and the seafront. We will be creating a festival/party atmosphere, which will make this a memorable and fun event with lots of colour, live DJ sets by Gaydio, hosted by the fabulous drag queens Mable and Dame Burley Chassis.

We are encouraging runners of all abilities to join us from the local community, our running friends in Brighton and Hove, new friends from outside of town and the whole LGBTQ+ community.

The run will be timed and all finishers will be awarded a bespoke Rainbow Run medal. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, female and non-binary runners. Results will be available to view online after the event.

In addition, special prizes will be awarded to the best fancy dress, so don your best colourful and sparkly pride outfit for the run!

Limited addition mechanised has been design with all profit going to our chosen charity The Brighton Rainbow Fund.

Proudly partners by Gaydio, Unbarred Brewery, Affinity Bar, Fatto A Mano Pizzeria, Popstacular, Brighton Box, The Grosvenor Bar, Southern Water, Vibe, Legal and General, Jack Russel's technology, High5
