Brighton Fringe 2026! Reflections By Margareta Jelic

About

Reflections is an immersive interdisciplinary performance combining digital animation with live sound and music performed on an analogue synthesiser. The narrative follows Martha through ordinary yet layered moments where reflections become the main carriers of story a computer screen, car mirrors, sunglasses, a lakes surface, and finally a mirror at home.
These reflective surfaces reveal and distort reality, exploring themes of perception, memory, and subjectivity.

Accompanied by an atmospheric soundscape of composed music and environmental recordings including cars, footsteps, rustling leaves, and birdsong Reflections creates a multi-sensory environment that invites audiences to slow down, listen, and reconsider how images shape their understanding of the world.

Margareta is a visual artist and art theorist. Her interdisciplinary practice spans painting, installation, animation, video and sound. Her works are exhibited internationally (New York, Toronto, Paris, Belgrade)
