Lilly lives alone surrounded by books, half-remembered rituals, and an unlit candle. Since childhood, she has been blamed for strange and destructive events: pets that disappeared, toys that shattered, silences that followed her wherever she went.
Over time, these accusations hardened into family folklore, shaping how others saw her and how she learned to see herself.
Now, in the aftermath of a violent assault, Lilly finds herself at breaking point. With no one to turn to, she clings to the only logic that feels available: that something inside her must be removed. Whether demon, inheritance, or consequence of trauma, she believes it must be destroyed if she is to survive. What unravels is a raw, darkly comic, and unsettling confrontation with fear, body autonomy, and the stories women are forced to carry.
