We are beyond excited to be welcoming a bit of a hero of ours to Brighton Sundae for this next one. Back in the 90s, he was known for being one of the founder members of Attica Blues. A poet, musician and DJ. Then he started up his legendary Blacktronica nights with King Britt, with an emphasis on showcasing black electronic music.
In more recent years, Charlie took a long break from DJing and just happened to become the founder of Run Dem Crew, changing lives in London and beyond by inspiring thousands of people into running. He was awarded an MBE for services to running and young people.
And then in recent years he's made a triumphant return to DJing - his back to back set with Mr Scruff and Mikey Don at We Out Here a couple of years back has become the stuff of legend, along with his London listening parties, showcasing his depth of knowledge and vinyl collection.
An infectious performer and master selector, trust us, this is going to be special.
