About

Come and enjoy our spring concert when we shall perform Schuberts moving Mass in E Flat Major and the Mozarts evergreen favourite Ave Verum Corpus. The choir will be accompanied by Sussex Classical players who will also be playing Haydns popular Military Symphony.

Schubert has been described at the greatest of all songwriters and nowhere is this talent better demonstrated than in his final work Mass in E Flat Major which is widely regarded as a choral masterpiece.

Mozarts Ave Verum Corpus, a work of just 46 bars, is often described as one of his most beautiful works and is much valued for its simplicity and serenity.
