About

In a chaotic, violent and divide world, what sense can be made of moral progress?

The Philosophy Department at the University of Sussex invites you to join us at the Friends Meeting House in Brighton for a free workshop on the idea of moral progress, funded by The Royal Institute of Philosophy.

Join us to hear from and discuss this important topic with our speakers:
- Sarah Sawyer (Professor of Philosophy, University of Sussex)
- Clive Webb (Professor of American History, University of Sussex)
- Tony Booth (Professor of Ethics and Epistemology, Kings College London)
- Mahon O'Brien (Professor of Philosophy, University of Sussex)
