Can't Kill The Spirit

About

A PlayGC Theatre Company Production
Can't Kill the Spiritfollows Chloe, a former Greenham Common activist who reclaims her voice of protest, forty years after her experiences at the Peace Camp, where during the 1980s thousands of women lived and campaigned against the installation of cruise missiles.

When a climate demonstration leads to life-changing consequences for her and her family today, Chloe must decide where her priorities lie.

Inspired by women of protest then and now, Cant Kill the Spirit is a moving story of reconciling personal and global choices and a timely reminder of the need for upstanders in a world of bystanders.

This "very impressive, engaging and emotive production" (theatreandtonic.co.uk), garnering \*\*\*\* reviews when it premiered in London in July 2025, links a vital part of British radical history with todays climate concerns and protests.
