Ever wondered what it’s like to drive the world’s oldest operating electric railway, winner of Heritage Railway of the Year award 2024? Now’s your chance to step behind the wheel!
To celebrate Railway 200, Volk's and VERA have teamed up to host Driver Experience Days. Our knowledgeable VERA volunteers will teach you how to drive two of our heritage cars. Each participant will be given around 1 hour – 1:30 of hands-on experience.
We are expecting this event to have high interest and will be based on a first come first serve, if all spaces are taken you will be put onto a reserve list (we have two reserve slots per experience).
You must be 18+ to take part in this event.
