About
For a long time we've been aware of the need for some to get an extra 'fix' of their favourite music other than at the weekends.
A Midweek Soul session is surely the answer....and in this budget conscious age - we're making itTOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE!
However, if you're able to, we do welcome donations but that's not essential. It covers the overheads, gives the DJs a drink and we hope to be making worthwhile contributions toBREAST CANCER NOW.That's a charity which resonates with a lot of people and one to which we were able to donate 3200.00 to last year.
The Ladies Mile are providing us with a particularly good venue. Draft lagers, ales, cask beers and a full range of drinks will be available as well as teas and coffees. There is a wonderful, wooden dance surface...and to make it easy for many - the No 5 bus stops directly outside the door. Parking is FREE and easy in this area too and it is only two minutes drive from the A27/A23 intersection.
Expect to hear all those Motown bangers from the likes of The Tops, The Temps, Supremes, Miracles, Marvin Gaye, Jr Walker, Gladys Knight and all the rest. All of it on the old original vintage vinyl lovingly assembled by the vintage DJs we're calling upon.
We know that a lot of people have time on their hands during the week for any number of reasons. They might be retired or resting. They could be working from home or not working at all. They might have a caring role or they might be working shifts.
The reasons are many and varied but we're sure they don't need to be watching Bargain Hunt or Countdown day in and day out. So as an alternative to that or aimlessly walking the streets - why not add a little more joy to Life.
So there you have it - a Wednesday sorted!
